Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect place to give your soul a much-needed break. In winter, a wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth and a romantic atmosphere.

In winter, you can keep the Meadow Room cozy and warm with a charming wood-burning stove. If you're new to wood heating, we'll be happy to show you the ropes.
Please remember when making a fire in the fire pit that you are very close to the forest. In dry conditions, we reserve the right to spontaneously close the fire pit – for everyone's safety.
The small and practical outdoor kitchen is just a few meters from the wagon, built into the woodpile. It's equipped with a two-burner gas stove and essential crockery. You'll wash dishes by hand.
There's no electricity or Wi-Fi in the Meadow Room – why not simply switch off and feel how wonderfully refreshing that can be? You'll still have light, thanks to solar and battery-powered lamps.
The toilet is a simple composting dry toilet, and there isn't a shower available yet.

Bitte benützt den Holzofen nur, wenn ihr fachkundig im Umgang mit Holzheizungen seid, lasst euch ansonsten von uns instruieren - so dass die gemütliche Wärme nicht zum Rauchinferno wird ;)

Bitte macht in der Feuerschale nur ein kleines Feuer - ihr befindet euch direkt am Waldesrand. Bei Wind oder trockenen Verhältnissen darf die Feuerschale nicht benutzt werden.

Ihr übernachtet auf einem Bauernhof mit verschiedenen Tieren. Bitte betretet weder Ställe noch Weiden und füttert die Tiere nicht. Kommen diese selbständig an den Zaun, dürfen sie natürlich gestreichelt werden.

Auch euer Hund ist herzlich willkommen bei uns. Wir bitten euch jedoch, ihn nicht auf dem Sofa/Bett übernachten zu lassen. Auf dem gesamten Hof- und Unterkunftsgelände besteht Leinenpflicht und wir bitten euch, den Hundekot fachgerecht zu entsorgen.

The Meadow Room is located at an altitude of 1000 meters, so roads are often snow-covered in winter. Access with a 4x4 vehicle is usually manageable without major problems. Otherwise, snow chains are highly recommended in winter road conditions.

At our farm shop, you can purchase a variety of cheeses, yogurt, quark, dried sausages, grilling sausages, 'Alpsöili' meat, veal from mother-calf husbandry, and every Friday, fresh bread and 'Zopf' (braided bread). For any other needs, the Volg Goldiwil supermarket is just a 3-minute drive or a 10-minute walk away.

Goldiwil is nestled at 1000 meters above sea level, perched above Thun, the gateway to the Alps. Hiking, climbing, skiing, swimming in the lake – it's all just a stone's throw away. And if biking is one of your passions, you'll find a fantastic bike trail right on your doorstep!
You're just a 10-minute drive from Thun, yet here on our farm, you'll revel in absolute natural tranquility. And with a little luck, you might even spot deer grazing in the meadow at the edge of the forest in the evening.

Lovingly prepared wagon, beautifully situated at the edge of the forest. Heidi was always available for any concerns. We spent two wonderful nights full of peace and quiet.
We had a wonderful weekend staying in the wagon on the farm. It's the perfect place to relax. Everything you need is there.
Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Heidi and Ädu in person, but everything was communicated super well and was uncomplicated.
Dear Heidi. The four nights in your beautifully decorated meadow room was an adventure. Cooking, washing up, and heating without electricity worked well. It was very clean and we lacked nothing.
