This pitch is located on a meadow at the entrance to Engelhelms, with unobstructed views and fantastic sun exposure until sunset, directly by the road. A small stream runs alongside the meadow.
As it's a natural meadow, please note there are no toilet facilities available.
Nearby, about 1 km away, you'll find Adolphseck Castle, featuring a cozy beer garden, and the Florenberg mountain. A organic farm with its own produce and a milk dispenser is located in the neighboring village.
A little further (approx. 5 km) lies the baroque city of Fulda.
Fulda is easily accessible from the meadow by bike via excellent cycling paths.

Schönes Wiesengrundstück. Alles wie beschrieben. Ideal für Ausflüge und Radtouren in die Röhn.

Wir wurden von Ingo herzlich empfangen und umfassend über alle Gegebenheiten des Übernachtungsplatzes informiert. Der Platz selbst besticht durch seine außergewöhnliche Sauberkeit und lädt direkt zum Verweilen ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Möglichkeit, die Feuerstelle zu nutzen – nicht nur zum Grillen, sondern auch, um den Abend in stimmungsvoller Atmosphäre ausklingen zu lassen.
Die Lage inmitten der Natur bietet zahlreiche Wander- und Erkundungsmöglichkeiten, insbesondere zur nahegelegenen Schloss Fasanerie, was diesen Ort zu einem idealen Ausgangspunkt für Naturfreunde und Kulturinteressierte macht.
Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass dieser Übernachtungsplatz keine Wünsche offenlässt und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen ist. Sobald wir wieder in der Region sind, werden wir mit Freude erneut hier einkehren.
This spot is excellent for an overnight stop on the way south. It's easily accessible even for larger vehicles. From the small, wooden seating area, you can wonderfully enjoy the sunset. Although the spot is by the road, it's completely quiet at night. The tip for a walk to the Baroque castle was great. We had a good time here and would come back anytime.
