Welcome to 'Auf der Halde' – a place nestled amidst vineyards, perfect for relaxation and unwinding. Here, you can savor the tranquility of nature and escape the everyday.
Our pitch is located just outside the charming wine village of Mauchen, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The region boasts numerous wineries to explore – and of course, you're warmly invited to visit our own Weingut Sommerhalter! A truly special highlight of this pitch is the panoramic view stretching all the way to France and the breathtaking sunsets.
Thanks to its central location, you can reach Basel in just 30 minutes, Freiburg in about 35 minutes, and France in a matter of minutes. A trip to the Black Forest is also always worthwhile.
For those who love to be active, there are plenty of opportunities for hiking, walking, and cycling tours through the vineyards or the Rhine Valley – a true nature experience!

Ein Ausflug zum Schloss Bürgeln oder in den Schwarzwald lohnt sich genauso wie ein Abstecher nach Basel, Freiburgoder ins nahe Frankreich. Natur, Genuss und Kultur liegen hier ganz nah beieinander.

Super beautiful spot, quiet and with a great view. Simon's winery also offers very good wines. We enjoyed it very much and would love to come again!
