Summertime Bliss is a former 3,000m² orchard that I am currently bringing back to life. It's vast and largely natural, featuring a beautiful shaded spot under a majestic oak. A remarkable highlight is the breathtaking view of the starry sky. Thanks to its location on the edge of the Westhavelland Star Park, it's exceptionally dark, allowing you to marvel at the Milky Way and count shooting stars as you drift off to sleep.
The neighborhood is peaceful, with dairy cows grazing in the pastures opposite. Transportation links are excellent, as the train station is only about 3 minutes away. The nearby village of Nennhausen boasts a beautiful castle and an idyllic castle pond. In the surrounding villages, you'll also find wonderful swimming lakes. Another highlight is the Great Bustards, which thrive here. With a bit of luck, you can observe these impressive birds during a stroll along the meadows. The nature reserves are also home to many rare bird species, and there are great observation towers nearby. In the evenings, if you're lucky, you might even enjoy a visit from fireflies.

Really a very nice pitch!
The pitch is wonderfully located in the midst of beautiful nature, and since we were the only guests there, we could truly enjoy the idyllic peace and birdsong. In the evening, a few loud trains pass by, but they don't disturb at night. I was pleased that Marc didn't mow the meadow completely, so it's a small oasis for insects, and accordingly, many birds are around, enjoying it. The observation towers for spotting the famous Great Bustards, as well as countless other animals, are quickly reached by bike. We'd love to come back!
We spent a relaxing time here among blooming trees and birdsong. We felt very comfortable, even if stargazing didn't quite work out due to the weather; maybe next time, we'd love to come back.

The spot is lovely, if a bit overgrown with nettles. The price was a bit on the high side for what you get compared to other places that we stayed. Overall we had a great night though!

Our stay with Marc was absolutely brilliant. The meadow is located right in the middle of the Star Park, and when the sun sets, you can see the stars sparkling clearly and brightly. The surroundings invite you to explore and hike. You can also easily arrive by train via Nennhausen station. The meadow itself is great for camping, and Marc is a super host.
