In der Herberge wohnen Familien mit Kindern aus verschiedenen Ländern ,die Duschen werden gemeinsam genutzt ebenso die Waschräume (Waschmaschinen zum Wäsche waschen dürfen auch genutzt werden .(wenn frei ;-) ) Die Toilette ist separat, für unsere Camper eingerichtet wurden und damit auch nur für euch zugängig .

Im Zentrum unterhalb der Burg Tharandt findet ihr alles was ihr braucht. Neben Netto, welcher alltägliches bietet, findet ihr die Bäckerei Seidel, einen kleinen Bioladen Frau Müller, sowie ein Eiscafé und einen leckeren Asiaten und den klassischen Döner. Weitere Angebote sind kleinen Stadtkern nicht zu übersehen.

Da Tharandt sehr zentral liegt, habt ihr alle Möglichkeiten. Neben den Wanderzielen, ist unsere Hauptstadt Dresden ebenfalls in ca. 20min Autofahrzeit oder mit dem Zug zu erreichen und lädt zum Shopping und natürlich zum Sightseeing. Auch die Bergstadt Freiberg mit seinem Terra mineralia Museum ist ein Besuch wert und befindet sich ebenfalls ca. 40 min mit dem Auto entfernt.
Und auch im Winter kann sich ein Besuch lohnen, denn in ca. 45min Autofahrt seid ihr in Altenberg. Ist bei uns im Winter aber genügend Schnee vorhanden, so lohnt es sich die Langläufer mitzubringen und die Wege durch den Wald damit zu entdecken. Garantie gibt es dafür aber leider nicht.

Ein supertoller Platz. Ich war alleine und konnte meinen Hund dank eingezäumten Gelände ohne Leine laufen lassen. Geht man am hinterenTeil des Geländes durch ein Tor, so ist man gleich im Naturschutzgebiet mit vielen Wandersteigen. Nun ja - gutes Schuhwerk braucht es schon.
Tony ist ein überaus sympathischer Gastgeber, der auch einiges zur Geschichte der Herberge erzählen kann.
Sollte ich nocheinmal in diese Gegend kommen ist ein Stop bei Tony Pflichtprogramm.

Very nice and dedicated host. We thoroughly enjoyed the evenings by the campfire and the Tharandt Forest. The pitch had everything we needed and offered plenty of space.
I had the place all to myself and really enjoyed the Sunday peace and quiet. Tony is a very thoughtful host. Thank you, Tony.
We were very kindly welcomed by Toni. The pitch is located between the road and the railway. During the day, you notice the road, but in the evening there's little traffic. So we could really enjoy the long evening by the fire. Toni has a heart of gold and is very dedicated. We wish you all the best for your project/journey.
We had a great time at this campsite! The location is perfect for hiking enthusiasts – you can set off directly from here on beautiful tours and enjoy nature. Special mention goes to the host Toni, who is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He took the time for a nice chat with us and provided us with great tips. The entire atmosphere at the site was relaxed and inviting. We will definitely come back!

It wasn't just a beautiful and quietly located pitch in the middle of nature and the Ore Mountains forest, but an absolute highlight on my travels. My host Tony was not only friendly, but an incredibly dedicated person through and through, with a heart in the right place. After the road bike tour, I was able to enjoy the amenities of the international hostel, shower, toilet, etc. Thanks for this pitch and this experience. David
