Nestled in one of Sicily's most beautiful tourist regions, campers can reach Mount Etna, Europe's most impressive and highest volcano, Taormina, the Alcantara Gorges, Catania, Acireale, Syracuse, and other towns rich in history and art, all within a few minutes' drive. It's also possible to take a scenic tour around the volcano on the local "CircumEtnea" train. Mokambo is the only campsite in Sicily from which you can admire the entire panorama of Mount Etna.

The beach is just 30 meters from the campsite. Here you can swim and, during permitted hours, even fish. The promenade features a pedestrian and cycle path where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll. From the campsite, you can also book an excursion to Mount Etna.
