Der Platz befindet sich in Friedrichshafen-Schnetzenhausen. Der Platz selbst ist eine Wiese, die regelmäßig gemäht wird. 120m von der Straße entfernt erreicht man den Platz, der durch eine hohe Hecke im Süd-Osten einen gewissen Windschutz bietet. Zur anderen Seite bietet sich Blick ins Grüne in den Obstgarten. Es gibt 5G Handyempfang (Telekom).

Die Region bietet eine vielfältige Landschaft, ideal für Radfahrer und Wanderer mit zahlreichen Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar sind das Hotel/Restaurant Krone (Essen, Minigolf, Tennis, Kegeln, Billard, Fahrradverleih) und der "Old Pub". Ein Bäcker für frische Brötchen eine Weinbar ("Vintage 1989" - Weinverkostung möglich!) sind ebenfalls nah. Der nächste große Supermarkt ist 1,9km entfernt.

Wer zum See will findet nur 3km entfernt auf dem Freizeitgelände "Alter Campingplatz" tolle Bademöglichkeiten, ein Strand-Café inkl. SUP-Verleih, Grillmöglichkeiten sowie eine kostenlose Liegewiese mit Sonnen- und Schattenplätze. Auch das kostenpflichtige See- und Freibad Fischbach ist direkt nebenan. Auch für nicht Seebegeisterte bietet die Region eine abwechslungsreiche Landschaft mit tollen Möglichkeiten für Radfahrer oder Wanderer mit entsprechenden Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Für Mountainbiker bietet sich der nahegelegene Gehrenberg an. Klettern ist möglich im 5km entfernten Kletterpark Immenstaad.

Too bad there's no toilet. It actually made it quite difficult to sleep in the car for a night. Otherwise, it was great, thanks!
