Welcome to our ostrich farm and sanctuary, nestled in the heart of Bavaria, between the Upper Palatinate Jura, the Altmühl Valley, and the Franconian Lake District. Our sanctuary is home to ostriches, goats, horses, chickens, peacocks, and rabbits. Your pitch is located right next to the animals on a beautiful meadow. PLEASE NOTE: QUIET HOURS ARE BETWEEN 12:00 PM AND 4:00 PM. CHECK-IN IS NOT POSSIBLE BETWEEN 12:00 PM AND 4:00 PM. NO CHECK-IN POSSIBLE AFTER 10:00 PM.
Electricity hook-up is available. Please note: Electricity consumption (3 Euro connection fee) will be charged based on meter readings and paid directly on-site! You are welcome to bring your own grill, or rent one for free on-site. Charcoal costs 5 Euros per bag. In Freystadt, you'll find a lovely natural swimming pool (approx. 5km away) with free admission. Berching offers an adventure pool (10km away). Lake Rothsee is about 15km away, perfect for boating, sailing, and more.

Der Rhein-Donau-Kanal liegt nur 1km entfernt, dort kann man gut mit dem Fahrrad fahren. Ebenso ist der 3 Flüsse Radweg gleich in der Nähe.
Ein Naturbad gibt es in Freystadt (5km entfernt), es ist kostenlos. In Berching (10km entfernt)gibt es ein ganzjähriges Spassbad. In Freystadt gibt es die sehr schöne Klosterkirche zu besichtigen. Der Roth- und der Altmühlsee sind nur ein paar km entfernt und laden zum Baden, Wandern, Bootfahren und Schiffahren ein.
